About The Bermudian Heritage Museum

The First of its Kind

The Bermudian Heritage Museum opened its doors on the 8th of March 1998.  A mammoth task but an enjoyable and amicable one.   The Bermudian Heritage Association, formed in September 1994,  aims to research, collect, preserve, display, promote and manage this wonderful history based on the heritage and accomplishments of Black Bermudians.

Situated in the Historic Town of St. Georges, the museum is housed in a building that in itself has a vast history.  It is designed to be a valuable resource to the entire community.  We invite you to tour our facility and discover the grandeur of nearly 400 years of history of the Bermudian people.
